FREE JACK SKELLINGTON PUMPKIN CROCHET PATTERN

Large pumpkin - 4.25"(W) x 4.25" (D) x 3.0"(H)

Small pumpkin - 2.0"(W) x 2.0" (D) x 1.5"(H)

Pumpkin body (white yarn)

Rnd 1: 6 SC in a MR (6)

Rnd 2: SC INC around (12)

Rnd 3: (1 SC, 1 SC INC) repeat around (18)

Rnd 4: (2 SC, 1 SC INC) repeat around (24)

Rnd 5: (3 SC, 1 SC INC) repeat around (30)

Rnd 6: (4 SC, 1 SC INC) repeat around (36)

Rnd 7: (5 SC, 1 SC INC) repeat around (42)

Rnd 8 - 11 (4 rounds): 42 SC (42)

Rnd 12: (6 SC, 1 INC) repeat around (48)

Rnd 13 - 15 (3 rounds): 48 SC (48)

Rnd 16: (6 SC, 1 DEC) repeat around (42)

Rnd 17 - 20 (4 rounds): 42 SC (42)

F/O, leaving a really long yarn tail. To create the ribbing, pull the yarn from bottom to top a total of 8 times. Pull the yarn to tighten each time to create an indent.


Pumpkin stem (black yarn)

Rnd 1: Starting with black: 5 SC in a MR (5)

Rnd 2: working in BLO, 5 SC (5)

Rnd 3 - 4: 5 SC (5)

F/O, sew to the top of the pumpkin.


Jack's eyes (make 2 using black yarn)

Rnd 1: CH 5. Starting in 3rd CH from hook, HDC, SC, 3 HDC in last CH. Working up the opposite side, SC, HDC INC.

F/O, leaving a long yarn tail for sewing. Sew eyes to pumpkin at a slant between rounds 9 to 13 about 4 to 5 stitches apart.


Embroider Jack's nose with black yarn on round 14.

Embroider Jack's mouth with black yarn between 14 t0 19.
